Lifting my DXT for bigger tires

I'm planning to lift or rake the A-arms on my DXT to fit larger wheels and tires, it's mostly used around my property, so I'm considering light truck tires maybe up to 33". Anyone tried this setup? Would love pics and thoughts

Yep, it's gonna work. I haven't personally tried it but I've seen a few of my friends throw on 33s with a mild rake or lift. It's definitely doable if you're just cruising around the property. Might need a little trimming up front, but it looks fantastic when done right. Let us see here those before & after pics when you do it. Good luck!

I second @wrongturn, it's definitely doable!
You're on the right track looking at A-arm kits.
Companies like High Lifter and Thumper Fab offer full kits with lifted and raked A-arms specifically designed to clear 33-inch tires, sometimes even including a lift kit.
These usually move the front wheels forward and rear wheels backward for better clearance.
Just be aware that going to 33s is a significant jump!
You might notice a difference in power and gearing, especially if you're hauling heavy loads or climbing steep inclines.
The stock clutch might feel a bit sluggish, and you could put more strain on your axles and other driveline components over time.
Consider looking into clutch kits too!

That's great to hear, I'll look into the trimming and figure out the best rake angle, I am planning to snap some before-and-after pics once I get it all dialed in

I really appreciate the heads-up, I hadn't factored in the extra strain or power drop, it makes sense with 33s. I'll check out High Lifter and Thumper Fab, and look into a clutch kit upgrade too

A lift kit will put a strain on every other component, so the longevity will take a hit. It's not like things will start falling apart after a month, but they won't las as long as if everything was stock.

About the tires, which ones are you going for?
