Front wheels not working in 4WD

Got a 2024 Mule Pro-MX and drove into gravel trail, threw it into 4WD, but only the rear tires did the work. The driveshaft kept spinning but the fronts are not doing anything. Diff lock got me there but I'm confused. No usual resistance when shifting into 4WD either. Could the front diff be the culprit?

It seems like your front diff might not be engaging. If the driveshaft is turning but the front wheels aren't pulling, it's probably an issue with the actuator, the linkage, or maybe the splines aren't matching up.

You might want to take a look at the actuator movement. Try shifting into 4WD with the front wheels lifted off the ground and spin them by hand. Sometimes they just need to align properly to engage.

Did you hear any noise or clicking when you shifted into 4WD?

The front diff or the engagement mechanism isn't actually locking in and it's not getting power through. I'd have the dealer check it under warranty before you put more stress on it than necessary
